Bing will include ChatGPT plugins in their results

Out of all the announcements Microsoft made yesterday, I believe this one was the most significant.

If you create a plugin for ChatGPT, you’re already reaching so many folks. Makers are reporting massive traffic spikes (link1, link2).

Now, Bing will also display results from ChatGPT plugins.

And they have 100 million active users every month.

You do the math.🤑

What else was announced:

• Adding Copilot AI assistant to Windows 11. Available natively on the OS level.

• Bing is the default browser in ChatGPT

• Semantic kernel - like LangChain, you can combine different AI models & use other AI tooling from one place

• Microsoft Fabric - next-level data analytics built for AI apps

Adobe Photoshop Adds Native AI

Adobe released Generative Fill, the world’s first co-pilot in creative and design workflows.

Prompts + Photoshop tooling = perfect combination.

🦙 Bill Gates: AI Could Take Down Google Search and Amazon as we know it. He believes the first AI Personal Assistant will revolutionize the Industry, and people won’t even need search engines anymore. We agree, of course!

👀 Antrhopic raised $450 million in Series C funding. Their round was led by SparkCapital with participation from Google, Salesforce, Zoom, and others. As a reminder: They’re ex-OpenAI employees and want to take a piece of the market. Their product is very good - they recently announced 100K context windows; making prompting of huge text without embedding possible.

🏋🏻‍♀️  Bard is becoming more visual. Bard will now surface images in their search results. In the coming weeks, they will enable “image prompting” using Google Lens.
