Unity teased its new AI platform and tools 🔥

Unity is opening a waitlist for their newest AI tools and features: Unity Muse + Chat, and Sentis.

Unity Muse will help artists from any skill level to create 3D games, faster and easier. Using just text input or sketches you can create almost anything.

Unity Sentis on the other hand, will enable embedding of AI models right in your game or app made with Unity. This improves how the game plays and other features right on the user's device.

They also shipped other AI features that let you search through Unity docs via a chat-like interface.

WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON

🦙 MosaicML gets acquired for $1.3B by Databricks. The combo of MosaicML's skills in AI software, model training, and deployment, and Databricks' customer base and engineering power, means they’re ready to make big things happen for many more people. They’re also big on open-source, and apparently, their latest models are even better than GPT-3.

🏋🏻‍♀️  US company is hiring an AI editor and expects 200-250 articles per week. Google Search's recent report on AI-generated articles suggests, and I directly quote, that there will be "a reward for high-quality content, no matter the method of production." As such, we can expect an increase in related job roles because AI-produced content is here to stay.

👀 Y Combinator’s Latest Batch Is 35% AI Startups. They received 24,000 applications and accepted less than 1% of those. YC is a trend-setter, and their portfolio of companies from 2022-2023 should be a good signal on what kind of tools will set the industry.
