The fight for your next line of code
MSFT and Google in the ring again
Hi folks! 👋🏻 This is The Prompt. Much like the newest Twitter CEO, Floki🐶, we fetch the latest AI news and make you smarter by the minute. 🗞
Let's get it
Github Copilot vs Magic 🧑🏻💻
We've all been witnessing the battle of the AI chats.
But the competition doesn't end there.
Now, MSFT and Google are fighting for your next line of code.
GitHub Copilot uses the OpenAI Codex to suggest code and entire functions in real-time, right from your editor.
And yesterday, they announced new features and upgrades to their Copilot app, along with the launch of GitHub Copilot for businesses and enterprises with more robust models.
Reality check: Github got acquired by Microsoft.
Meanwhile...
Magic, a similar tool, just raised $23M from Google's Fund.
They claim to do the same *and more* than GitHub Copilot. However, the underlying models and techniques are still unknown.
Google's code-generation models are a potential option for them, don't you think?
No surprise there!
Personalize your product demos using AI
Generic product demos don't bring business? I know the feeling.
To make an impact, demos should be personalized. But recording a new demo after every sales call is too time-consuming.
The middle ground? Walnut Ace.
With a few screenshots (and without coding), Walnut Ace helps you create a personalized and interactive demo in a couple of minutes.
+ Using their OpenAI integration, the app helps you write a winning sales pitch.
Win-win.

[Quick video] GPT-3 can generate AppleScript
[Mind-blowing] 👇🏻
With the InstructGPT paper we found that our models generalized to follow instructions in non-English even though we almost exclusively trained on English.
We still don't know why.
I wish someone would figure this out.
