New research from OpenAI analyzes the impact of GPT on our jobs!

The verdict is that up to 49% of workers could have half or more of their tasks automated by LLMs.

The paper also shows that better paying jobs have a higher chance of being automated, while critical thinking and science jobs are “safer”.

And, low-paying jobs such as agricultural equipment operators, carpenters, repairers.. etc, have the lowest probability of being automated.

So, I guess we now know why Bill Gates started buying land like crazy last year, and is the biggest private owner of farmland in the US today.

The “Reimagined” Stable Diffusion is not as good as expected

Stable Difussion released their “Reimagine” app where you can create multiple variations from your image without limits.

However, the demo dissapointed many.

The resulting photos are often bad quality photos, and are nowhere as good as the advertised examples on the page.

For interior designs specifically, it is even weirder as creators who created Interior AI & roomGPT.io do a much better job, and they are built on top of Stable Diffusion.

WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON

🦙 Sam Altman’s exclusive interview for GPT-4. GPT will eliminate a lot of current jobs, but it will create so much better ones. He’s also a bit scared & surprised from the results they continue to have.

👀 You can now use Stable Diffusion nativelly in Photoshop. Still a beta version and it might be buggy, but it’s worth a try!

🏋🏻‍♀️  Stable Diffusion will hire everyone from OpenAI who actually want to work on open-sourced AI. This comes after OpenAI's failure to adhere to their "Open-sourced" philosophy, as they hid information related to their GPT-4 architecture and model.
