Having the right prompts to get a task done is the biggest challenge with the current AI tools and models.

So, I thought that this tool was interesting.

Built by Matt, this “gpt-prompt-engineer” agent will generate, test, and rank a multitude of prompts to find the ones that perform the best for your task.

Also, this agent is highly constrained and it’s not open-ended as other agents that we’ve seen in the past - so the results should be much better.

And it’s open source - yey.

NEW TECH

“Pan”, new feature in Midjourney

Panning lets you extend your upscaled images in all four directions.

How does it work?

Underneath your upscales you'll see arrow buttons ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️
If you click an arrow it will extend your image in that direction
If you type /settings and click Remix mode you'll have the option to change your prompt as you extend your image.

WHAT ESE IS GOING ON

🔎 OpenAI temporarily shut down “Browsing”. Apparently, ChatGPT Plus users can use Browsing Mode to navigate around paywalled articles - and they want to do right by content providers.

👀 Remember “Pi” from Inflection? Well, now they’re building the largest AI supercomputer in the industry. The supercomputer will utilize an astounding 31 Mega-Watts of power. So they weren’t building just a “nice-looking” ChatGPT competitor with their $1.3B investment - phew, there’s hope for the AI bubble!

🏋🏻‍♀️ Harvard’s new computer science teacher is a chatbot. The AI teacher will likely be based on OpenAI’s GPT 3.5 or GPT 4 models, according to course instructors. They want to provide a 1:1 experience in this class, meaning that every student will get 24/7 support in their learning at a pace and in a style that works best for them individually. I am all up for this!
